ONLINE RECEIVERS FROM SWLOG/RCS AND REMOTEHAMS.COM

The following application shows all current online receivers from RemoteHams.com (blue icon) and SWLog/RCS (red icon). Note that most RemoteHams.com receivers allow for the audio to be played, but require a username and password to tune the recevier. An account can be created on the RemoteHams.com web site.

 

ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP WITH REMOTEHAMS.COM

RemoteHams.com and its Online Remote Base (ORB) application provide the ability to transmit and receive over the Internet. With ORB, one can be halfway across the world and transmit, provide the local authorities permit it. ORB is an amazing program and its author, KG6YPI, is a great resource for our hobby.

Although ORB and RCS utilize different protocols, both systems are designed to interoperate with each other. This is an example of how things should work in our hobby.
